Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) Jobs 2026: Administrative & Faculty Vacancies

The Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) has announced two separate recruitment advertisements (No. 67 and No. 68) for 2026. The university is seeking highly qualified, dynamic, and committed Pakistani nationals for permanent administrative leadership roles and fixed-pay faculty positions.

🏛️ Advertisement No. 68 (2026): Administrative Leadership Positions

Applications are invited for the following key administrative leadership positions on a Regular Basis.

1. Treasurer (BPS-20)

Age Limit: Maximum 50 years
Minimum Qualification: First-division Master’s degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in Business Administration/Commerce (with specialization in Finance) OR Chartered Accountancy or equivalent degree in the field of Finance/Accounting from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
Experience: Seventeen (17) years’ relevant experience in a university, Government Department, or Autonomous Body in BPS-17 & above or equivalent. Out of this, at least three (03) years’ experience must be in BPS-19.

2. Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)

Age Limit: Maximum 50 years
Minimum Qualification: First-division Master’s degree or equivalent degree (16 years of education) or higher qualification from an HEC-recognized university/degree-awarding institution.
Experience: Seventeen (17) years’ post-qualification experience in examination work in a university or Government department or an autonomous organization in BPS-17 or its equivalent and above. Out of this, at least three (03) years’ experience must be in BPS-19.

Application Fee: A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 6,000/- must be deposited through an e-challan in the University account at Bank of Khyber, Mardan (Account No. 00792005876772, IBAN: PK40KHYB0079002005876772). A copy of the deposited challan must be uploaded to the job portal.
In-Service Candidates: Applicants serving in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Grading Policy: Under the semester system, a CGPA of 3.00/4.00 will be considered equivalent to a First Division.

💻 Advertisement No. 67 (2026): Fixed-Pay Faculty Vacancies

Applications are invited for engagement as Lecturers on a purely temporary, fixed-pay basis.

Position: Lecturer in Computer Science

Number of Posts: 20
Remuneration: Rs. 80,000/- per month (all-inclusive package, subject to tax deductions).
Age Limit: 18 to 35 years
Eligibility Criteria: * First Class MS / MPhil / equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with no 3rd division in the entire academic career.
- Exception: If a candidate holds a PhD or equivalent degree, not more than one 3rd division in the entire academic career is allowed.

ETEA Screening Test & Application Process for Faculty:

Profile Creation: Candidates must provisionally appear for a screening test conducted by ETEA. Create a profile on the ETEA website (www.etea.edu.pk) to apply online.
Test Fee & Verification: Print the E-Sahulat token from ETEA’s website and verify your CNIC at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise kiosk. Deposit the non-refundable test fee through Easypaisa app/agent or any branch of UBL Bank using the generated deposit slip.
Post-Test Registration: Candidates whose details are received from ETEA after qualifying the written test must submit an online application form through the AWKUM portal (http://jobs.awkum.edu.pk) along with an AWKUM processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- deposited into the Bank of Khyber university account within 15 days of the test result intimation.
