Eligibility Criteria (Education & Experience)

Candidates must meet the following statutory requirements to qualify for the position:

1. Educational Qualification

Required Degrees: Master’s degree in any discipline of Food Sciences (Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Food Engineering), Bio-Chemistry, or a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from an HEC recognized university.
Preferred Qualification: Candidates possessing dual qualifications in both Food Sciences and Business Administration (MBA) will have a distinct advantage.

2. Professional Experience

Total Experience: Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience.
Leadership Experience: Must possess at least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or at a senior management level in similar commercial organizations.
Compliance: The candidate must meet the Fit and Proper criteria provided under Schedule II of Public Sector Companies (Appointment of Chief Executive) Guidelines 2015.

Key Responsibilities of the CEO

The selected incumbent will be responsible for the following key corporate assignments:

Implementing the vision, mission, and operational goals of the company outlined by the Board of Directors (BoD).
Developing short-term and long-term business plans, monitoring financial compliance, and working closely with the CFO for budget preparation.
Managing day-to-day administration and company operations in line with SECP Rules.
Overseeing quality control, human resource practices, and ensuring optimal utilization of installed food processing/grading machinery.
