Alpha Insurance Company Limited Jobs 2026 – Chief Executive Officer Required

The Board of Directors of a well-established General Insurance Company invites applications from accomplished and dynamic professionals for the position of Chief Executive Officer.

The Company has a long-standing presence in Pakistan’s insurance sector and is entering a new phase of growth under a renewed governance framework, a clearly defined medium-term strategy, and the support of committed shareholders. The Board seeks a commercially driven and transformational leader who can strengthen market position, accelerate growth, enhance profitability, build organizational capability, and create sustainable value for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership to the organization and will be responsible for:

Delivering the Company’s approved strategy and business plan
Accelerating profitable growth and strengthening market presence
Enhancing operational effectiveness and customer experience
Driving digital, organizational, and cultural transformation
Building a high-performance and accountable organization
Strengthening governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Creating long-term value for shareholders and stakeholders

Appointment

The appointment will initially be for a period of three years, extendable subject to performance and Board evaluation. A competitive market-based compensation package, including performance-linked rewards, will be offered to the successful candidate.

Eligibility Criteria

Education and Professional Qualifications

The candidate must meet one of the following criteria:

Possess a graduate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Commerce, Marketing, or an equivalent discipline from a university recognized by HEC, or such other professional qualification relating to the principal line of business; OR
Be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants; OR
Hold ACII/FCII qualification, or be a Fellow/Associate of the Institute/Society of Actuaries (UK/USA) or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Society of Actuaries, or possess a Master’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or Actuarial Science from a university recognized by HEC.

Experience

Minimum ten years of effective management experience, including at least five years in insurance management.
Experience in Takaful operations will be an added advantage.

Regulatory Requirements

Must satisfy the Fit and Proper Criteria prescribed under the Insurance Companies (Sound and Prudent Management) Regulations, 2012, and any subsequent amendments.
