The Anti-Dengue Program, District Rawalpindi, has announced a large-scale recruitment drive for Contingent Paid Staff under Notification No. SO(EP&C)2-2/2026. Applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates for the following positions on a contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria
For Entomologist Assistant:
- Intermediate (FSc) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board
- Relevant experience/training in entomology or public health surveillance preferred
- Age limit: 18–35 years (25 years relaxation category applicable as per criteria mentioned)
For General Worker:
- Basic literacy; ability to operate/apply on Android mobile devices (Android 15.0 or above)
- Candidates must have their own Android mobile phone to apply and perform field surveillance duties
- Age limit: 18–35 years (18 years for a specific relaxed category)
Area-Wise Distribution of Posts (General Workers – 1500 Total)
Recruitment will be carried out area-wise across various Towns/Tehsils, Union Councils (UCs), and Wards in District Rawalpindi, including:
Rawal Town:
Dhoke Mangtal, Dhoke Hasnu Shumali, Purwadabi, Bangash Colony, Said Pur Scheme, Faisora, Satellite Town D-Block, Qayyumabad, Dhoke Hukam Dad, Chaman Zaar
Potohar Town:
Takhat Pari, Kulyal, Shakrial North, Khana Dak, Gangal, Chaklala, Dhoke Munshi, Rehmat Abad, Kotha Kallan, Morgah, Dhamial Syedan, Dhamyal, Lakkhan, Chak Jalal Din, Ghrja
Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (CTC/CTR Wards):
Ohatam Colony, Naseerabad, and various numbered wards
Taxila (Ward-1 to Ward-9 Wah Cantt, Taxila Cantt):
Saray Kala, Gheela Khurd, Mohra Shah Wali, and multiple Wah Cantt wards
Total Posts: 450 Male + 1050 Female = 1500
Terms & Conditions (Key Points)
- Appointments are on contingent/contract basis for the duration of the Anti-Dengue surveillance program.
- Candidates must be domiciled/resident of the relevant Town/Tehsil/UC/Ward for which they are applying.
- General Workers must have a personal Android smartphone and be able to use the designated dengue surveillance mobile application for daily reporting.
- Data/reports submitted by field workers will be monitored through a Dashboard (PITB) system.
- Selection will be made strictly on merit as per the eligibility criteria specified for each post.
- Candidates providing false information or found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified.
- The recruitment/selection process will be monitored by the concerned District Health Authority.
- Final merit lists will be displayed at designated District Health Office/Program notice boards.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview or selection process.
- The competent authority reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel any vacancy without assigning any reason.
Important Dates
- Receiving of Applications: 20th – 24th July 2026 (approx., area-wise schedule as per notice)
- Tehsil-wise Interview Schedule: 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 28th July 2026 (staggered by tehsil/zone)
