Ayub Medical College Abbottabad is an Autonomous Medical Teaching Institution with a Board of Governors as prescribed by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Medical Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015 and amendments therein; MTI ATH/AMC/ACD is an equal opportunity employer with no gender bias. Ayub Medical College requires the services of the following Clinical & Basic Sciences Faculty, Lecturers and Deputy Director QEC Positions from all over Pakistan as per below mentioned conditions. All jobs are on contract basis. KP MTI Act 2015 (as amended from time to time), MTI rules and regulations shall apply to all positions.

Requirement for Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor (Qualification, Experience, Publications etc.): As per MTI Policy Board Regulations/Criteria. PM&DC eligibility certificate and PMDC registration is mandatory to be submitted with the application form.
Note: Upon selection the candidate will receive a faculty position at the appropriate level (Assistant, Associate or full Professor). The selected candidate will be offered grade/scale as per IPS MTI Abbottabad policy.

Note for the Lecturer Positions:

• The Candidates must have completed House Job on or before the closing date of applications.
• Applicants holding only provisional PMDC registration shall not be eligible.
• Postgraduate Trainees (PGRs)/TMOs in Clinical Specialties, including those undergoing FCPS-II training, are not eligible to apply.
• Candidates having experience in relevant specialty will be given preference.

Selection Procedure:

• All shortlisting will be done based on educational qualifications and relevant experience as per BOG AMTI approved criteria.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• A minimum of 70 percent will be passing interview marks as approved by the competent authority.
• Average aggregate of interview marks will be considered.
• Chairman committee will ensure that all members of the committee are well conversant with the marking system and marks are awarded without bias.
• Government, Semi Government, Autonomous Body or Private Medical College employee must submit NOC from the concerned department.
• The selection committee will recommend names to the competent authority MTI ATH/AMC/ACD as per order of merit including pre-interview and interview marks.
• The competent authority shall then issue offer letters to the recommended candidates.

2. Applications should be submitted electronically by completing all documents in a single PDF through google form/email seniormanagerhr.ath@ayubmed.edu.pk in a required stipulated time.

4. Appointment shall be made on Institutional Pay Scale (IPS) under the MTI ATH/AMC/ACD Uniform Contract Policy (December 2025), with Contributory Provident Fund (CPF), and shall be governed by the MTI Act 2015, Policy Board Regulations 2025, and other applicable policies and amendments, subject to annual performance evaluation (PERs).
5. All the educational documents & experience certificates shall be verified during the process of scrutiny/short listing and in case of fake/unverified documents, the candidate will be disqualified and proceeded against as per law.
6. Applications accompanied by a duly completed Online Job Application Form, covering letter, attested copies of academic credentials, qualification and experience certificates, valid professional registration/licence (where applicable), CNIC, domicile certificate, NOC (where applicable), four (04) recent passport-size photographs with a white background, and the original bank deposit slip/bank draft of the prescribed non-refundable processing fee, must be submitted through the prescribed Online Job Application Portal.

8. Candidates must retain the original candidate copy of the deposit slip, bearing the bank’s stamp, and shall not share it with anyone.
9. All supporting documents shall be uploaded with the online application in a single PDF file; where the portal does not facilitate document uploads, the same shall be submitted through the designated e-mail address in a single PDF file. Professional registrations/licences must remain valid on the closing date of applications; expired registrations/licenses shall not be accepted. A copy/screenshot of the successfully submitted online application must be attached with the hard-copy application. A complete hard-copy application package, containing all requisite documents, must be sent through registered courier service to the Office of the Senior Manager HR Ayub Medical College Abbottabad at the address given below. Applications shall be considered complete only upon successful online submission and receipt of the requisite hard-copy documents within the prescribed deadline.
10. The candidate must be in good standing with his/her employer (attach reference letter from current employer and at least one other reference letter). Names of three referees must be provided in the application form.
11. Character verification and background checks of the selected candidate shall be conducted. In case of any adverse report or criminal record, the selection shall stand cancelled or withdrawn.
12. The appointee shall be on probation for one (01) year, during which the contract may be terminated without notice, and without assigning any reason.
13. The Selection Committee will evaluate applicants and determine the most suitable position (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, or equivalent) commensurate with their qualifications and experience, in accordance with Policy Board directives.
14. Candidates employed in Government/Semi-Government/autonomous organizations must apply through proper channel with valid NOC and, if selected, shall resign from service. Civil servants, including those on long leave, must resign from civil service; failure to secure acceptance of resignation within the probation period shall render the employment terminated ab initio.
15. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview; no TA/DA will be admissible. Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.
16. Experience should be from PMDC/HEC approved/registered Institutes/firms/organizations.
17. PM&DC eligibility certificate is mandatory to be submitted with the application form.
18. The Board of Governors, MTI ATH/AMC/ACD, reserves the right to offer appointment at an appropriate faculty rank commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, or to leave any advertised position unfilled if no suitable candidate is available. An attractive salary package and benefits shall be offered in accordance with the approved BOG, AMTI Policy, commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience. Selected Clinical Faculty shall be required to undertake Institution-Based Private Practice (IBPP) exclusively within Ayub Teaching Hospital in accordance with the MTI Act, applicable Rules, and institutional policy, and shall not engage in any private practice, including consultancy, surgery, procedures, or related professional services, outside Ayub Teaching Hospital, MTI Abbottabad. Any violation of this condition shall render the appointee liable to disciplinary action, including termination of appointment.
19. Quotas shall be observed as per rules: 2% for persons with disabilities, 10% for female candidates, and 5% for minorities. A disability certificate issued by the competent medical board shall be required where applicable.
20. The Selection and Scrutiny Committee reserves the right to reject any incomplete or late application received after due date. An aggrieved candidate may submit a written appeal to the competent authority, whose decision will be final. No correspondence shall be entertained once the selection process is completed and a candidate has been appointed. Any attempt to approach or influence any member of the Selection Committee or any official through any comment or means shall result in automatic disqualification of the applicant.
21. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final, subject to approval by the Board of Governors, AMTI Abbottabad.
22. The Board of Governors, MTI ATH/AMC/ACD, reserves the right to revoke the selection process at any stage or to re-advertise the position.
