Qualifications & Skills Required

Candidates interested in this managerial role must satisfy the following academic and professional requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
Domain Knowledge: Sound knowledge of banking applications, account opening processes, and regulatory guidelines.

Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in banking operations or account opening.

Key Responsibilities

The selected Manager will manage and optimize operations within the Centralized Account Opening department through the following responsibilities:

Process Control & Compliance: Control and oversee the entire account opening process, ensuring full compliance with internal bank policies and external regulatory requirements.
Strategy & Efficiency: Develop and implement proactive strategies to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the account opening workflow.
Team Management: Manage, guide, and coach the account opening teams to consistently achieve operational excellence.
Issue Resolution: Resolve issues related to account opening and provide prompt guidance to branches as needed.
TAT & Turnaround Monitoring: Guide branch staff on rectification processes and monitor timelines closely to ensure timely resolution; ensure completion of all CAO activities within defined Turnaround Time (TAT) targets.
Audit Compliance: Address and rectify audit observations effectively, maintaining full operational compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise and collaborate smoothly with Area Operations Compliance Officers (AOCOs) and Regional Operations Managers (ROMs) to resolve operational bottlenecks.
