The Cabinet Division, Government of Pakistan, invites applications for the post of Member (Oil), Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

Eligibility Criteria

Education/Qualification

• Candidates must have an appropriate degree in the relevant field.

Experience

• An experienced, eminent professional of known integrity and competence with a minimum of 20 years of related experience in the field of oil, including the transportation thereof. Experience in the area of corporate restructuring, privatization, implementation of reforms, investment planning, development finance, sector regulation, and pricing of oil products, alongside a demonstrable track record of senior-level policy and strategy formulation, will be desirable.

Pay Package/Remuneration

• Entitlement as per Median of MP-I Scale, alongside perquisites as admissible.

Tenure

• The Member (Oil) shall be appointed for an initial term of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further term of four years, or till the attainment of 65 years of age, whichever is earlier.

Ineligibility

• Any candidate found to be in violation of the relevant provisions of the OGRA Ordinance, 2002, shall be considered ineligible for appointment.

Instructions

1. Government servants may apply through the proper channel. In case of selection, a candidate working in Government Departments, Autonomous, or Semi-Autonomous Bodies will have to resign or seek retirement before joining the new assignment.
2. Only short-listed eligible candidates shall be called for interview.
3. Aspiring candidates should send applications along with a CV and one set of attested copies of all relevant educational degrees/transcripts, experience certificates, CNIC, and one passport-size photograph to the following address within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this advertisement.
4. Candidates are also required to bring original documents at the time of interview.
5. No TA/DA shall be admissible to the candidates.
