The COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) invites applications from interested candidates for the following positions on OPEN MERIT basis:

Responsibilities
Manager (IT):
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of university software systems, including ERP, HRMS, Student Information System (SIS), and other institutional applications, while ensuring adherence to SDLC, coding standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, manage system architecture, database design, integration, and application modernization, and coordinate with departments to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Ensure application security, data integrity, reliability, backup, and disaster recovery, while overseeing troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing systems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and prepare technical documentation and reports to support the University’s digital transformation initiatives.
Assistant Manager (IT):
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of ERP, HRMS, SIS, and other applications, ensuring compliance with SDLC and coding standards.
- Support technical teams in execution, monitor progress, and help translate departmental requirements into technical solutions under the guidance of the Manager IT.
- Contribute to application security, data integrity, backups, disaster recovery, and routine troubleshooting to maintain system reliability.
- Research emerging technologies, prepare technical documentation, and provide reports to support digital transformation initiatives.

- Please also attach a Pay Order/Demand Draft amounting to Rs. 2000/- (non-refundable) for the positions as processing fee in favor of “COMSATS University Islamabad,” along with printout of online application form.
- In case of applying for more than one position/campus, a separate application is mandatory for each position along with all required documents and demand draft/pay order.
- Candidates currently serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous organizations should apply through proper channel.
