The Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS), Bahawalpur, has invited applications from Pakistani nationals (Punjab domiciled only) for the following posts on a Daily Wages basis.
Open Positions
1. Assistant – 3 posts
Age: 21-35 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Master’s degree or BS (second division) or equivalent qualification in any discipline from an institute/university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
- 5 years of post-qualification experience in Microsoft Office.
2. Assistant (Auditor) – 1 post
Age: 21-35 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Master’s degree or BS (second division) in Commerce or Management Sciences/Accounting and Finance or Economics or equivalent qualification from an institute/university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
- 5 years of post-qualification experience handling accounts and audit matters.
3. Junior Clerk – 10 posts
Age: 18-30 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) from a recognized board.
- Typing speed of 25 words per minute, with computer skills in English.
- Proficient in MS Office or any other compatible office application.
4. Electrician – 1 post
Age: 18-30 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Higher Secondary School Certificate from a recognized board with DAE (3 years) in Electrical or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
- 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
5. AC and Refrigerator Mechanic – 1 post
Age: 18-30 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Secondary School Certificate (second division) from a recognized board.
- 6-month diploma or certificate in electrical work.
- 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
6. Dispenser – 1 post
Age: 18-30 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) from a recognized board.
- Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institute.
7. Auto Mechanic – 1 post
Age: 18-30 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institute.
8. Mason – 1 post
Age: 18-30 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institute.
9. Carpenter – 1 post
Age: 18-30 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institute.
10. Plumber – 1 post
Age: 18-30 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
- Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institute.
11. Junior Lab Attendant – 3 posts
Age: 18-25 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Secondary School Certificate (second division) with Science from a recognized board.
12. Chowkidar – 10 posts
Age: 18-25 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Literate.
- Height of 5’6″.
- Chest of 32″-34″.
13. Naib Qasid – 5 posts
Age: 18-25 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
14. Helper (Mason) – 1 post
Age: 18-25 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Literate.
15. Mali – 6 posts
Age: 18-25 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Literate.
16. Bus Conductor – 4 posts
Age: 18-25 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Literate.
17. Beldar – 6 posts
Age: 18-25 years Qualification/Requirement:
- Literate.
Terms & Conditions
- This appointment will be made for 89 days on a Daily Wages basis, as per government policy (extendable with the approval of the Competent Authority).
- Wages will be paid according to the Finance Department, Government of the Punjab approved Daily Wages Rates.
- Applicants must deposit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- in CUVAS BWP A/c # 17527901021503, IBAN # PK34HABB0017527901021503, at any branch of Habib Bank Limited, Pakistan.
- The original fee deposit receipt must be attached with the application.
- Applications, along with all credentials (attested copies of testimonials, one recent passport-size photo, CNIC, domicile, and experience letter if any), must be received in the Office of the Registrar, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur, on or before 31-07-2026 during office hours.
- General age relaxation will be as per the policy of the Government of Punjab.
- The University reserves the right to: a. Not fill any or all of the advertised posts without assigning any reason. b. Shortlist applications/candidates according to criteria determined by the Vice Chancellor. c. Increase or decrease the number of posts.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
- No TA/DA will be admissible.
- The selected candidate against this advertisement cannot claim a regular appointment at any forum.
