The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Karachi Central, has invited applications from suitable candidates holding a valid Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of District Karachi Central to fill vacant posts in the District & Sessions Court, Karachi Central (Advertisement No. A/C/2396/2026, dated 09.07.2026).
Open Positions
1. Driver (BPS-07) – 1 post
Qualification & Requirements:
- Matric
- Valid driving license
- 3 years of experience driving vehicles
- Age Limit: 20 to 28 years
2. Bailiff (BPS-05) – 4 posts
Qualification & Requirements:
- Matric from a recognized board
- Age Limit: 20 to 28 years
3. Naib Qasid (BPS-03) – 2 posts
Qualification & Requirements:
- Middle level education
- Age Limit: 20 to 28 years
4. Chowkidar (BPS-03) – 2 posts
Qualification & Requirements:
- Primary level education
- Age Limit: 20 to 28 years
5. Sweeper (BPS-03) – 2 posts
Qualification & Requirements:
- Age Limit: 20 to 28 years
Terms & Conditions
- Candidates must submit their applications on the prescribed application form, duly completed, along with attested photocopies of CNIC, educational certificates/documents as prescribed for the respective post, Domicile, PRC, and two recent passport-size photographs.
- Applications may be submitted by hand or through registered post, addressed to the “District & Sessions Judge, Karachi Central.”
- Last date for submission of applications: July 31, 2026.
- Applications received after the closing date, or that are incomplete or do not fulfill the prescribed requirements, will not be entertained.
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post.
- Government servants who have served the Federation or the Government of Sindh for a continuous period of not less than 3 years qualify for an upper age limit of 30 years, in accordance with the Sindh Judicial Staff Service Rules, 1994. Such candidates must apply through the proper channel and submit a valid NOC from their department/employer.
- A 5% quota is reserved for persons with disabilities, who must submit a valid Disability Certificate along with a CNIC bearing the wheelchair logo issued by NADRA.
- A 20% quota is reserved for children of deceased, retired, or serving employees of the Judicial District Karachi Central, as per applicable rules.
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply and will be given equal opportunity in the recruitment process.
- The list of eligible candidates, along with the schedule for the written test and/or interview conducted by the Departmental Selection Committee, will be published on the official website of the District & Sessions Court, Karachi Central (https://districtcourtskarachicentral.gos.pk/) and displayed on the Court’s Notice Board.
- At the time of the interview, candidates must produce original documents, including a Character Certificate from the Principal/Head of their last educational institution and a Character Certificate from a respectable person (other than a relative) well acquainted with the candidate’s character.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the written test and/or interview.
- Any attempt to influence the selection process, directly or indirectly, will lead to disqualification.
- The decision of the Departmental Selection Committee shall be final.
- This office reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts, or to cancel, withdraw, modify, or postpone the recruitment process, wholly or partly, at any stage, without assigning any reason.
