Online applications are invited through ETEA for the post of Forest Guard from suitable candidates having domicile of Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Orakzai, and Kurram districts, and the prescribed qualification as per the following advertisement, Serial No. 1(a).

Minimum Qualifications per Rules

a) Intermediate in Science from a recognized Board; and

b) Physical Fitness:

i) Health: Candidates shall be free from all physical and mental disabilities.
ii) Height: 5 feet 6 inches (minimum)
iii) Chest size: 32-34 inches (minimum); and
iv) Marathon race: Candidates shall qualify a marathon race of 03 KM within 15 minutes.

Terms & Conditions

Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based on the credentials provided. However, detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority, and if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect at any stage of the recruitment process, he/she will be disqualified by the appointing authority.
All candidates will be required to create a profile on ETEA’s website. After creating the profile and before applying/depositing the fee for any post, such candidates will have to print the E-Sahulat token from ETEA’s website and get their CNIC number verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without such verification, they will not be able to apply for any post.
Candidates qualifying the ETEA test shall subsequently be screened for relevance in terms of the eligibility criteria.
Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.
Candidates should be eligible in all respects before or by the last date of receipt of applications.
Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. Incomplete applications, or applications submitted with fake documents/information, shall be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.
Relaxation of age will be admissible as per existing Government rules.
Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government bodies should apply through proper channel.
The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies while mentioning a cogent reason thereof.
Shortlisted candidates, in order of merit, will be called for interview by the Departmental Selection Committee.
As this division comprises five districts, i.e., District Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Orakzai and Kurram, and since there is only one post per district as mentioned above, and each post comes under the open merit quota on the district level only, therefore no post can be spared for the 30% quota reserved for right-holders of designated forests. Documents of candidates falling on district-level merit will be verified from the concerned institutions, and the verification charges shall be borne by the candidates.
Candidates who have been dismissed or removed from service in any government department on grounds of misconduct or corruption are not eligible to apply.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo one year of training as Forest Guard at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest School, Abbottabad.
Selected Forest Guards will be required to furnish a surety bond of Rs. 300,000/- on stamp paper, undertaking to serve in the Forest Department, Kohat Forest Division, for a period of five years. In case of failure to fulfill this commitment, the surety amount shall be recovered from the candidate.
No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
Original documents shall be produced at the time of interview, along with attested copies of all testimonials.
In case of a foreign degree, an equivalent certificate from HEC must be provided.
Errors/omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification.

How to Apply

Interested candidates may first visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply for the posts online.
After successful submission of the online application, a prescribed online deposit slip (having token number, project code, and candidate’s personal information) will be generated.
Take a printout of the generated deposit slip and deposit the prescribed test fee (non-refundable) through the EasyPaisa app or agent, or at any branch of UBL Bank.
After successful fee submission, please keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) having the bank’s desired stamp with yourself, and do not share it with anyone else.
After applying online, don’t send documents/testimonials to the ETEA office; copies of testimonials/documents will, however, be provided by the candidates who qualify the screening test, as and when required by the appointing authority for scrutiny purposes.
Availability of the online application form on www.etea.edu.pk was from 15th July 2026.
The last date for submission of the online application is 31 July 2026.
Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll No. Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Candidates are directed not to get their mobile number ported/converted.
Test date, time, and venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip.
No separate call letter will be issued to candidates for the screening test through postal/courier means.
