Important Instructions for Submission of Applications

Observance of General Instructions: Eligibility of candidates in all cases shall be determined as per the Commission’s policy laid down in the General Instructions displayed on FPSC’s website. Candidates are advised to review these instructions before applying.
Procedure to Apply:
- All applications must be submitted online through FPSC’s website: www.fpsc.gov.pk
- Candidates may edit online applications only once within the closing date to rectify any errors/omissions.
- Information claimed in the online application form will be treated as final. Subsequent claims of experience not given in the online form will not be accepted.
- The Commission may place the syllabi on its website prior to the screening examination; candidates should check frequently and print their Admission Certificate.
- No hardcopy of the online application is required, and no manual applications will be accepted for General Recruitment cases.
Application Fee:
- BS-16 to BS-17: Rs. 600/-
- BS-18: Rs. 1,500/-
- BS-19: Rs. 2,500/-
- BS-20 and above: Rs. 3,000/-
- The fee must be deposited on or before the closing date, online against a dedicated PSID (generated by the FPSC Online Portal), via 1-Link facility (ATM/Mobile Banking/Easypaisa/JazzCash, etc.).
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: The maximum age limit prescribed under the Recruitment Rules shall be relaxed in pursuance of the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993 (as amended from time to time).
Shortlisting Criteria for Interview: Candidates will be shortlisted for interview as per the Commission’s policy given in the General Instructions on FPSC’s website.
Documents Required from Candidates:
- After the test/exam, candidates on higher merit positions will be asked to furnish attested copies of required documents: two photographs, Matric and Intermediate certificates, Bachelor’s/Master’s/M.Phil/Ph.D. degrees, CNIC, Experience Certificate (where required), Domicile Certificate, and Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) for government servants.
- Candidates who fail to furnish the requisite documents within the stipulated time, or who provide incorrect/incomplete information, will have their candidature rejected.
- An equivalence certificate issued by HEC/relevant forum is required wherever equivalence of the required degree is claimed.
- Experience from firms/companies/institutions/organizations/banks/NGOs will only be accepted if they are well-known nationally or internationally and appropriately registered.
Eligibility Cut-off: Eligibility of candidates in all respects shall be reckoned up to the closing date.
Admission Certificate: The Admission Certificate for the Screening Test will be placed on FPSC’s website (www.fpsc.gov.pk) a couple of weeks before the examination date. No information will be sent through post.
Conduct of Test: The Test/Examination for Consolidated Advertisement No. 2/2026 will be held with effect from July 11, 2026. The test schedule and syllabus will be issued on the official FPSC website after publication of this advertisement. Candidates must bring their original CNIC and a downloaded copy of the Admission Certificate to the Screening Test. Possession of a cell phone or any electronic device in the examination hall will result in disqualification and permanent debarment from future FPSC exams.
Change of Centre: Requests for change of test centre will only be entertained if received within 10 days of the closing date of the advertisement.
