The Office of the Director, Institute of Kidney Diseases (IKD), MTI-HMC Peshawar, invites applications from qualified Pakistani citizens for various clinical positions under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Reforms Act 2015. The appointments are on a contract basis under the specified criteria:

Vacant Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Experimental Registrar / Specialist Registrar

• Specialties: Urology, Paeds Urology, Nephrology, Paeds Nephrology, Transplant Urology, Transplant Nephrology

• Gender: Male / Female

• Salary Package: IPS-12

• Employment Status: Contractual, Non-extendable (02 Years)

• Qualification & Experience: * MBBS or equivalent qualification from a PM&DC recognized institution.

  • FCPS (Urology/Nephrology) or Diploma American Board (MD) or equivalent diploma approved by the SRC & recognized by PM&DC in the respective discipline/subject (qualified within the previous 18 months).

  • Current and valid PM&DC Registration.

2. Experimental Registrar / Specialist Registrar (Intensive Care and ICU)

• Gender: Male / Female

• Salary Package: IPS-12

• Employment Status: Contractual, Non-extendable (02 Years)

• Qualification & Experience: * MBBS or equivalent qualification from a PM&DC recognized institution.

  • 1st Preference: FCPS (Intensive Care, Pulmonology, Internal Medicine with experience in Intensive Care) / MRCP or Diploma American Board (MD) or equivalent diploma approved by the SRC & recognized by the PM&DC in the respective discipline/subject.

  • 2nd Preference: FCPS Anesthesia.

3. Trainee Registrar

• Specialties: Urology, Paeds Urology, Nephrology, Paeds Nephrology, Radiology, Transplant Urology, Transplant Nephrology

• Gender: Male / Female

• Salary Package: IPS-11

• Employment Status: Contractual, Non-extendable (03 years)

• Qualification & Experience: * MBBS or equivalent qualification from a PM&DC recognized institution.

  • Course Completion Certificate of Postgraduate Fellowship Training under structured program i.e., FCPS or Diploma American Board (MD) in Urology / Nephrology from a recognized institution.

  • Candidates who have completed their Fellowship Training during the last three years will be preferred.

  • Current & valid PM&DC registration.

4. Medical Officer Anesthesia

• Gender: Male / Female

• Salary Package: IPS-11

• Employment Status: Contractual, Non-extendable (03 Years)

• Qualification & Experience: * MBBS or equivalent qualification from a PM&DC recognized institution having current and valid PM&DC registration.

  • Completion of House Job Certificate.

  • Preference will be given to candidates having postgraduate qualification / experience in the relevant field.

5. Medical Officer ICU

• Gender: Male / Female

• Salary Package: IPS-11

• Employment Status: Contractual, Non-extendable (03 Years)

• Qualification & Experience: * MBBS or equivalent qualification from a PM&DC recognized institution having current and valid PM&DC registration.

  • One year Post-Qualification experience in ICU/Pulmonology/Anesthesia will be preferred.

Terms & Conditions

• A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,500/- must be deposited into the online account titled “DIRECTOR INSTITUTE OF KIDNEY DISEASES PRACTICAL TRAINING ACCOUNT HAYATABAD PESHAWAR”, Account # “PLS 3002194839”, Bank of Khyber, HMC Branch Hayatabad Peshawar (Branch Code: 0185). The fee can be deposited at any Bank of Khyber branch.

• Applications received after the closing date and time will not be accepted and shall automatically stand rejected.

• Interview calls will be issued to short-listed candidates only. Shortlisting will be done based on pre-interview marks.

• Duly attested photocopies of documents will be acceptable on the condition that candidates bring original documents at the time of the interview. Experience claimed will only be counted if a relevant experience certificate is submitted with the application.

• The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies or cancel/withdraw all or any of the vacancies at any time without assigning any reason.

• No TA/DA is admissible for the Test/Interview.

• Preference will be given to non-civil servants.
