The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Transmission & Grid System Company (KPT&GSC), a private limited company wholly owned by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the Companies Act 2017, is seeking a seasoned and high-caliber professional for its senior management team based in Peshawar.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) cum Company Secretary (CS)

* Master’s degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university OR

* Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost & Management Accountant (CMA).

* Subject to SECP Fit and Proper Criteria.

* Minimum 10 years of financial management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a public sector company with assets of Rs. 5 Billion or more.

* Strategic financial planning, budgeting, reporting (preferably in utility/infrastructure), and managing large budgets.

* SAP/ERP implementation experience is highly desirable.

Age Limit:

Maximum 57 Years (as of the application deadline).

Tenure:

3 years contract (extendable with mutual consent).

Salary & Scale: MBS-II Scale of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (negotiable based on qualification/experience). Existing pay/allowances for internal candidates will be protected along with a Special Allowance.

Functions, Responsibilities & Skills

Strategic Financial Input & Operations: Provide corporate leadership on high-level decision-making, enforce strict financial discipline, and oversee total financial planning, budgeting, costing, and taxation.
Capital & Project Financing: Structure project financing through international funding agencies, bilateral/multilateral development financial institutions (DFIs), commercial banks, and public/private funding streams.
Internal Controls, Audit & Governance: Evaluate and maintain internal financial controls in compliance with International Accounting (IFRS) and Auditing Standards. Ensure strict compliance with Companies Act 2017, SECP regulations, and Listed Companies Corporate Governance Regulations.
Tariff & Regulatory Affairs: Handle power sector regulatory affairs, formulate transmission tariffs, and manage petitions before NEPRA.
Board Coordination: Act as the primary coordinator for all Board of Directors, Board Committees, and General Meetings.

Affidavit Required: Candidates must submit a signed affidavit declaring they are not disqualified to act as a CFO/Company Secretary under the relevant Corporate Governance Rules.
Disqualification: Any concealment of facts, fabrication of experience, or misleading information will result in immediate disqualification.
TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview process.
