KP Forest Department Jobs 2026 – Forest Guard Vacancies in Saran Forest Sub Division (Apply via ETEA www.etea.edu.pk)

The Forest Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Saran Forest Sub Division, has announced job opportunities for the recruitment of Forest Guards (BPS-08). Applications are invited from energetic and eligible candidates through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).

General Merit: 70% (16 posts)
Rural Guzara/Landowners with jungle usage rights: 30% (7 posts)
Minority Quota: 1 post

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years

Educational Qualification

Intermediate in Science (FSc) or equivalent from a recognized board (any subject combination accepted)

Physical Standards

Minimum Height: 5 feet 6 inches
Minimum Chest: 32–34 inches
Must complete a 3-kilometer run within 15 minutes
Candidates must be medically fit and free of any disability

Terms & Conditions (Key Points)

All candidates must create a profile on the official ETEA website and complete NADRA E-Sahulat verification, along with generating a token and printing it with their CNIC number from an E-Sahulat kiosk, before applying or submitting fees for any post.
All appointments will be made strictly on merit, in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The competent authority reserves the right to conduct a screening test/scrutiny of all eligible candidates at any stage; candidates found ineligible during scrutiny may be disqualified even if declared eligible earlier.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
Interview intimation will be sent via SMS; candidates must not change their mobile SIM until the recruitment process is complete.
Applications must be complete and received by the specified deadline; incomplete applications will not be entertained.
No age relaxation will be given beyond existing rules.
Only government/semi-government employees may apply through proper channel (with NOC/countersignature from their department head); private sector experience will not be considered equivalent.
Candidates disqualified for any reason are not eligible to reapply for advertised posts.
No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
Reserved and vacant posts for women/minorities will be filled as per policy.
Roll number slips/merit lists once issued will not be reissued.
Foreign degree holders must submit an equivalence certificate from HEC.
Separate applications must be submitted for each post.
Newly recruited Forest Guards must undergo mandatory one-year training at the KP Forest School, Thai Abbottabad.
Candidates leaving the job before completing 3 years after training must reimburse training expenses.
Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.
Merit list validity is 6 months from the date of the test/interview.
Only genuine degrees/certificates will be accepted for recruitment; use of fake documents will result in disqualification.
Under service rules, 70% of posts are merit-based while 30% are reserved for eligible individuals from families holding usage rights in the relevant Forest Division’s jungles.
If eligible candidates from the 30% quota are unavailable, the quota may be filled through general merit.
Selected candidates may be posted anywhere within the Forest Division.

After successful submission of the online application, a unique deposit slip will be generated containing a token number and project code, along with the candidate’s personal details.
Fee payment can be made via Easy Paisa, UBL Bank, or any UBL Bank branch/agent app using this deposit slip (non-refundable).
Keep the original deposit slip (candidate’s copy) safely after fee submission — do not share it with anyone.
Do not send original documents to the ETEA office at the time of applying online; however, shortlisted candidates for screening tests will be required to submit documents when needed.
Online application forms will be available on www.etea.edu.pk starting 07-07-2026.

Candidates will be informed by ETEA via SMS to download and print their roll number slip from www.etea.edu.pk.
Candidates are advised to provide a personal/local mobile number for correspondence.
Test date and venue will be mentioned on the roll number slip.
No separate call letter will be issued for the screening test via mail or courier.
