The Karachi Port Trust (KPT), Gateway to Pakistan, has announced a vacant position for October-2026. KPT invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for appointment on a contract basis.

Available Position & Eligibility Criteria

1. General Manager (IT) (BPS-20)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Age Limit: 50 years (General age relaxation of 5 years is already clubbed)

• Quota: Merit

• Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Sciences or equivalent from a well-ranked institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

  • 15 years of experience in information technology development / management, including 05 years of experience as Chief Information Executive of a reputed organization.

  • Note: Foreign qualified and foreign experience will be preferred.

• Employment Type: Contract-based for a period of 2 years (extendable).
