The Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) has announced a job opportunity for the position of Deputy Manager Operations. Applications are invited from suitable and experienced candidates to serve in this key operational role within the Corporation.

Position Details

Post: Deputy Manager Operations

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the smooth operation and management of water supply and sewerage systems within the assigned area
Supervise field staff to ensure timely resolution of complaints related to water supply and drainage issues
Coordinate with relevant departments for maintenance and repair of pipelines, pumping stations, and other infrastructure
Monitor and report on the operational status of water/sewerage networks under WASA and KW&SC regulations
Prepare operational reports and ensure compliance with organizational SOPs and R&M (Repair & Maintenance) protocols
Coordinate with engineering teams for technical assessments and system upgrades
Handle complaints and coordinate with relevant field teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Perform any other duties assigned by senior management from time to time

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

Relevant engineering/technical degree (as prescribed by KW&SC), preferably in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience:

Relevant experience in operations management, preferably within a water/sewerage utility or similar public sector organization
Familiarity with WASA/KW&SC systems and GIS-based monitoring tools preferred

Age Limit: 25–45 years

Appointment will be made on a contract basis, in accordance with KW&SC’s employment policy
