Overview
Hiring of Services of Project Incremental Staff for the Project Coordination Unit under Developing Resilient Environment and Advancing Municipal Services (DREAMS-I), Local Government and Community Development Department (LG&CDD).
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced individuals for the recruitment of Project Incremental Staff on a contract basis, initially for a period of one (1) year (extendable based on satisfactory performance) under the subject project.
City Implementation Team (Rawalpindi) — Available Positions
Civil Infrastructure Expert (03 Posts)

Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate, or preferably postgraduate, degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline. In general, 5 years of relevant work experience in matters related to civil engineering, infrastructure development, etc. Preferably 3 years of experience working in organizations with comparable conditions in organizations/assignments, in a similar capacity and with comparable working conditions.
Mechanical Infrastructure Expert (01 Post)

Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate, or preferably postgraduate, degree in Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on water supply and sanitation infrastructure, is desirable.
Social Mobilizers – Community Engagement Program (03 Posts)

Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate, or preferably postgraduate, degree in Mass Communication, Social Sciences, Sociology, Gender Studies, or a relevant discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a program/project support role in national-level organizations working on social development and gender issues, particularly in social mobilization.
- Should have a good understanding of gender and social inclusion issues, particularly in the context of Rawalpindi.
- Proven ability to work with multi-stakeholders and diverse communities, and direct experience working with project beneficiaries at the grassroots level in Rawalpindi.
- Good communication and reporting skills will be preferred.
- Knowledge of local languages (Urdu and Saraiki) is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel and conduct field visits.
Gender Expert (01 Post)
Max Age: 50
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate, or preferably postgraduate, degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, or a relevant discipline. In general, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in matters related to gender mainstreaming, social safeguards, etc. Preferably 2 years of work experience in similar projects, particularly related to local governments and urban development reforms.
- Experience working in the development sector and with international donor organizations would be preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices, local laws, and policies related to gender issues would be essential for this position; excellent communication skills (written and oral) and strong interpersonal skills are considered an advantage.
Monitoring & Evaluation Expert (01 Post)
Max Age: 50
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate, or preferably postgraduate, degree in Engineering. Should have a minimum of 5 years of general experience, with 2 years of specialized experience undertaking Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
Note
Salaries will be market-based, as approved in the PC-I of the Program. Women and candidates from minorities are encouraged to apply.
