Job Description / Key Responsibilities

Develop MEPCO’s supply chain strategy aligned with the organizational vision, strategic goals, and direction from the CEO and Board Committees.
Manage the procurement team to ensure performance compliance with PPRA Rules and MEPCO procurement practices.
Lead all procurement tasks for equipment, supplies, and services necessary for the business.
Oversee inventory control and logistics for efficient, cost-effective distribution to other departments.
Ensure effective utilization of the MEPCO ERP system for optimal supply chain execution.
Coordinate with other department heads to maximize supply chain and procurement efficiency.
Periodically update the supply chain framework and validate alignment with internal and macro-economic dynamics.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

Education: 16-years Degree (Master’s preferred) in Supply Chain from a local or foreign university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Certifications: Certifications or courses on supply chain management from high-repute national or international institutions will be a strong plus.
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience, including at least two (2) years in a senior leadership role as Head of Department or an equivalent strategic leadership position within a large-scale public sector, national, multinational, or corporate organization.

Remuneration & Benefits

Market-based competitive salary package ranging from Rs. 0.8 to Rs. 1.0 million per month (negotiable based on experience/qualifications).
Additional benefits, allowances, and facilities admissible under Company policy for C-Level executives.
Annual performance appraisal conducted by the MEPCO Board of Directors.
Note: The position is purely contractual, non-pensionable, and carries no long-term benefits.

General Conditions & Disqualifications

Candidate must be a Pakistani Citizen. HEC equivalence is mandatory for foreign degrees.
Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees must apply through the proper channel with an NOC from their parent department.
Candidate must submit an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper (worth Rs. 100) declaring:
- Absence of conflict of interest and non-involvement in FIA, NAB cases, or criminal courts.
- Non-dismissal, termination, or removal from service and non-political affiliation.
