MTI Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar Jobs 2026 – Faculty & Lecturer Recruitment

The Office of the Dean/CEO, Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) and Affiliate Institutes, Peshawar has announced career opportunities under the MTI Act 2015. Applications are invited from highly qualified professionals for various faculty and lecturer positions at KGMC, IKD, B&PSC, PICO, and FHH Peshawar.

Job Details & Eligibility Criteria

1. Faculty Position (Ophthalmology / Public Health)

Recruitment Rules & Qualification: * MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
- PM&DC recognized medical qualification in the respective/relevant specialty, OR other equivalent qualification approved by the Standing Recognition Committee (SRC) and registered by the PM&DC.
- Must meet the PM&DC & MTI criteria for faculty selection.
Note: Upon selection, candidates will receive a faculty position at the appropriate level (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor). For Ophthalmology, preference will be given to candidates with experience in Corneal pathology.

2. Faculty Position – PICO (Epidemiology)

Recruitment Rules & Qualification: * MBBS or equivalent medical qualification registered by the PM&DC with a recognized qualification in the relevant specialty.
- OR BS Vision Sciences Optometry from a recognized university along with an MS/MPhil in the relevant/respective specialty (Epidemiology).
- Candidates holding a PhD degree (Epidemiology) will be preferred.
Note: Selection will be made at the appropriate faculty level (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor).

3. Lecturer (Basic Sciences)

Recruitment Rules & Qualification: * MBBS or equivalent medical qualification fully recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
Additional Preference: Candidates having relevant additional qualifications or professional experience will be preferred.

4. Lecturer (Optometry)

Recruitment Rules & Qualification: * BS Vision Sciences / Optometry from a recognized university.
Additional Preference: Candidates having relevant additional qualifications or professional experience will be preferred.

Terms & Conditions

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be offered grades/scales as per the Institutional Pay Scale (IPS) of MTI-HMC & Affiliate Institutes.
Government Servants: Candidates working in public sectors must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC from their parent department.
Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. If the number of applications is very high, an entry test may be conducted for shortlisting.
TA/DA: No TA/DA is admissible for the test or interview. Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.
