Job Position

Position: Learning Manager (AVP / VP) Reporting To: Director Staff College Location: Lahore Employment Type: Contractual (03 years, renewable at the Bank’s discretion)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational / Professional Qualification

Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.
Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or any professional certification(s) will be preferred.
Certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) will be preferred.

Experience

Minimum 08 years of working experience, preferably in Banking and/or Financial Institution(s) and/or Corporate Institutions, out of which at least 03 years of experience as an in-house trainer and/or corporate trainer with subject expertise in Soft Skills and/or Leadership Development and/or Behavioral Competencies and/or Professional Effectiveness programs.
Candidates who are certified trainers or have training experience will be preferred.

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

Extensive knowledge of learning theories
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in English, Urdu, and local languages
High proficiency in the MS Office suite and online video conferencing applications (Zoom, Meet, Teams, etc.)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As Learning Manager at NBP, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

Overseeing the design and development of need-based training programs and updating existing courses as per different employee cadres
Structuring training programs with lectures, group discussions, and case studies to ensure practical understanding of the subject
Conducting training courses as per training plans, paper quizzes, and tests to analyze trainee understanding of the subject
Conducting tests, checking test papers, and preparing results to be posted
Researching and designing long-duration courses for newly hired and promoted staff
Organizing seminars and workshops as per training need assessments
Arranging summary reports regarding trainee feedback and evaluation
Implementing innovative methodologies for training delivery, retention, and evaluation, and assessing training programs based on procedural learning
Performing any other assignment as assigned by supervisors

Assessment Interview(s)

Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s).

Employment Type

The employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, which may be renewed at the discretion of Management. Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits as per the Bank’s policy/rules.
