The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) is backing the economic growth of the country through its excellent transmission and dispatch network. NGC intends to attract talented young engineers through an open, transparent, and merit-based recruitment process for the following position on a perpetual contract with a lump-sum pay package.

Instructions and General Conditions
- Candidates are advised to apply online on the prescribed Application Form available on the National Testing Service (NTS) website: www.nts.org.pk. The application forms/fee challan must reach National Testing Service (NTS), Plot # 96, Street # 4, H-8/1, Islamabad, by courier service/Pakistan Post, etc., on or before the last date of submission mentioned below.
- Candidates must possess a relevant degree/equivalence recognized by HEC. Candidates awaiting their results are not eligible to apply.
- Photocopies of educational documents/experience certificates are not required at this stage.
- Candidates are advised to deposit the test fee of Rs. 650/- (Rupees Six Hundred & Fifty Only), as prescribed by NTS.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. No TA/DA will be allowed to candidates for the test or interview.
- Candidates appearing in the interview must bring their original credentials — CNIC, educational certificates duly verified by HEC, verified copies of experience certificate(s), registration card(s)/certificate(s) with professional/relevant bodies (PEC/relevant institute/body, etc.), departmental NOC (if already working in a government department/organization), and other relevant documents, along with attested copies thereof.
- Candidates may contact NTS for any query/enquiry regarding the written test, display of provisional and final lists of candidates, roll number slips, test centers, results, etc.
- Incomplete applications or applications containing incorrect/misleading information, or concealment of facts, shall be disqualified at any stage — even after employment.
- Candidates who have been weeded out of service on disciplinary grounds, or dismissed/debarred from future employment, are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates applying against the minority or disability quota posts must produce a minority/disability certificate from the concerned authority.
- Selected candidates will be offered a lump-sum pay package on a perpetual employment contract, with performance-based progression and termination provisions in accordance with applicable policies and contractual terms.
- Candidates, if selected against these positions, will be required to perform duties anywhere in Pakistan, as per the requirement of the Company.
- NGC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, or withhold the recruitment process, at any stage.

Important Announcement
Biometric attendance/verification of all shortlisted/eligible candidates will be carried out at NTS Test Centers before the start of the written test. Therefore, all applicants are required to get their fingerprints updated in the NADRA system; otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear in the written test.
