Position Details

Job Title: Funds Officer (OG-II)
Reporting To: Unit Head – PF & BF Unit
Location: Karachi

Educational / Professional Qualification

Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.

Experience Required

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Banking Sector.

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

Good understanding of business and financial acumen
Strong business communication and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; basic understanding of Power BI
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

Maintain employee-wise records of pensionary benefit recoveries due to ex-employee deaths or excess payments, and prepare accounting vouchers
Assist the Wing Head – Fund Accounting in Pension Fund audits
Verify original sanction notes from HRMG files for pension disbursement cases and affix the “Original Seen” stamp
Prepare reconciliation of dividend income with the Pension Fund bank account
Prepare accrual workings on Pension Fund investments
Check monthly Pension payroll as per HRMG reconciliations and maintain proper files
Park vouchers in SAP FICO
Perform any other assignment as directed by supervisor(s)

Assessment / Interview Process

Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above eligibility criteria will be invited for a test and/or panel interview(s).

Employment Type

The position is on a contractual basis for three years, renewable at the discretion of Management. Selected candidates will receive a compensation package and benefits as per the Bank’s policy and rules.
