NICVD Karachi Jobs 2026: Career Opportunities at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases

The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Karachi, has invited applications for multiple contract positions across medical, technical, and administrative fields. All posts are on a contract basis under the Sindh regional/provincial quota. Below are the complete details of each position, along with the required qualifications and experience.

Open Positions

1. Professor (Anaesthesia)

Age Limit: 50 years Qualification & Experience: As per PM&DC rules and regulations. Candidates must have qualified Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia with relevant experience and publications as per PMDC guidelines.

2. Associate Professor (Anaesthesia)

Age Limit: 45 years Qualification & Experience: As per PM&DC rules and regulations. Candidates must have qualified Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia with relevant experience and publications as per PMDC guidelines.

3. Associate Professor (Cardiac Imaging)

Age Limit: 45 years Qualification & Experience: As per PM&DC rules and regulations. Relevant qualification and experience will be preferred.

4. Assistant Professor (Anaesthesia)

Age Limit: 40 years Qualification & Experience: As per PM&DC rules and regulations. Candidates must have qualified Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia with relevant experience and publications as per PMDC guidelines.

5. Assistant Professor (Critical Care)

Age Limit: 40 years Qualification & Experience: As per PM&DC rules and regulations. Candidates must have qualified FCPS (Critical Care) with relevant experience and publications as per PMDC guidelines.

6. Senior Registrar (Anaesthesia)

Age Limit: 35 years Qualification & Experience: As per PM&DC rules and regulations. Candidates must have completed a 2-year Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia.

7. Senior Registrar (Critical Care)

Age Limit: 35 years Qualification & Experience: As per PM&DC rules and regulations. Candidates must have completed a 2-year Fellowship in Critical Care.

8. Legal Officer

Age Limit: 35 years Qualification & Experience: LLB with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in handling Service Disciplinary Matters, Court Cases, and Legal Affairs.

9. Echo Technologist

Age Limit: 30 years Qualification & Experience: BS-MT (Cardiovascular Sciences) with 2 years of relevant experience, OR B.Sc. with a Diploma/Training in a relevant field with 2 years of experience.

All positions are contract-based (BPS: Contract) under the Sindh regional/provincial quota.
