The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites applications from qualified and experienced medical professionals for engagement as Visiting Medical Consultants (Full-Time & Part-Time) and Flight Surgeons at various airports and operational locations across Pakistan, particularly in remote areas.

Scope of Services

Selected candidates will be responsible for providing medical services, including but not limited to:

Operational Medical Services: Provision of first aid to passengers and emergency medical response during aircraft-related incidents.
Regulatory Functions: Conducting random alcohol testing and assisting in investigations related to aviation incidents/accidents at the apron and Passenger Terminal Building (PTB).
Employee Medical Services: Providing medical care to PAA employees as per applicable service regulations.

Positions & Eligibility Criteria

A. Full-Time Visiting Consultants

Locations: BNB Sukkur Airport, Nawabshah Airport, Gilgit Airport, Skardu Airport, Gwadar Airport, Muridke Aerodrome.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS (minimum 2nd Division) from an HEC recognized university.
- Valid registration with PMDC.
- Minimum 05 years’ post-house job experience in reputable hospitals (preferably tertiary care/teaching institutions) in Emergency Care / Medicine / Cardiac Care.
- Availability to serve at the Medical Inspection (M.I.) Room on a daily basis or as required.
Working Hours: 08 hours per day, keeping in view the flight schedule of relevant Airport(s) and as required by the Airport Manager.

B. Part-Time Visiting Consultants

Locations: Turbat Airport, Panjgur Airport, Rahim Yar Khan Airport, D.I. Khan Airport, Saidu Sharif Airport, Moenjodaro Airport, Zhob Airport, D.G. Khan Airport, Bahawalpur Airport, Chitral Airport, Dalbandin Airport.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS (minimum 2nd Division) from an HEC recognized university.
- Valid PMDC registration.
- Minimum 02 years’ post-house job experience in relevant medical fields.
- Availability as per flight schedules and operational requirements.
Working Hours: 04 hours as per flight schedule of relevant Airport(s), as required by the Airport Manager.

C. Flight Surgeon

Locations: Flight Inspection Unit (FIU), Headquarters PAA.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS (minimum 2nd Division) from an HEC recognized university.
- Valid PMDC registration.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Aviation Medicine.
- Minimum 05 years’ experience as a Flight Surgeon in a reputable organization/airline.
Working Hours: 04 hours fortnightly, with on-call availability as required by the Flight Inspection Unit.

Terms & Conditions

Engagement will be made as per terms approved by the competent authority.
Remuneration up to Rs. 10,000/- per day, depending on location and experience.
