General Instructions & Procedure

Recruitment Place / Date: The initial registration for recruitment will take place at the Pakistan Coast Guards Registration Center, Korangi 21/2, Karachi No. 31, from May 14 to July 15, 2026.

Relevant candidates must reach the recruitment venue by 07:30 AM for initial registration and tests.
-
Physical Standards and Age Limit: (1) Height minimum 5 feet 6 inches (2) Chest minimum 34 inches with 2 inches expansion (3) Age limit 18 to 25 years.

Candidates must bring two attested photocopies of the following documents and four passport-size photographs, which will be checked before registration:

(A) Original educational certificates along with other degrees

(B) Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
-
(C) Domicile
-
(D) Four passport-size photographs
-
(E) Extra qualifications (Technical course / Diploma / Experience certificate / Driving license, etc.)

Ineligibility for Recruitment: Candidates with the following criteria will be ineligible for recruitment:
-
A. Dismissed from service on disciplinary grounds from the Pakistan Coast Guards or any government organization.
-
B. Convicted by any court of law.
-
C. Declared medically unfit by the Pakistan Coast Guards or any government organization.
-
D. Dismissed from service from the Pakistan Coast Guards or any government organization due to fake educational degrees / fraud.

E. Candidates already serving in any Armed Forces or Civil Armed Forces who are present without an NOC from their department.

F. Discrepancies or alterations in details such as name or date of birth between the CNIC and educational certificates.

Note:

A. Strict legal action will be taken on the submission of fake documents.

B. Candidates must bring writing materials including an examination clipboard along with PT shoes for the physical test.

C. No TA/DA (traveling allowance) will be provided.

D. The use of mobile phones is prohibited during recruitment; no candidate should bring a mobile phone with them.

E. Government employees must bring an NOC from their department.

F. Stationery and medical expenses will be borne by the candidate themselves.

G. No accommodation or food facilities will be provided during recruitment.

Special attention should be paid to discipline.

Preference will be given to those who are younger and possess higher qualifications for all posts.

Recruitment in the Pakistan Coast Guards is strictly on a merit basis. The final selection authority rests with the Director General, Pakistan Coast Guards. Therefore, do not contact any Pakistan Coast Guards personnel or any middleman in this regard.
