Paraplegic Centre Peshawar Jobs 2026 – Chief Executive Officer Required

The Paraplegic Centre Peshawar (PCP) invites applications from dedicated and dynamic professionals having the requisite qualification and experience to fill the tenure-based contractual vacancy of Chief Executive Officer at the Centre.

Vacancy: Chief Executive Officer

Note (i): The position is open to male and female candidates. Note (ii): Maximum age limit is 56 years, on the last date fixed for receipt of applications.

Required Experience and Minimum Qualification

Qualification: (i) Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Prosthetics/Orthotics, equivalent, and/or qualification with other nomenclatures from an HEC-recognized university; OR (ii) FCPS/FRCS/MD in Orthopedics and Spine Surgery/Physiatry, or equivalent PM&DC Level-III clinical medical qualification.

Experience: (i) In case of a postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Prosthetics Orthotics: at least 12 years of experience equivalent to the rank of BPS-17 and above (including at least 05 years against reputed Physical Rehabilitation comprehensive sector organizations); and (ii) In case of Orthopedics & Spine Surgeon: at least 12 years of experience as Associate Professor and below, in the respective specialty, duly recognized and calculated by PMDCC, including at least five years’ service in a senior management position in a well-reputed comprehensive physical rehabilitation organization, as well as experience in spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities, preferably in a public sector organization.

Research Publications: A total of at least 12 research publications, pertaining to the respective field/specialty/physical medicine and rehabilitation, published in HEC-recognized journals, out of which at least 6 shall be published with the candidate as the principal author.

Tenure of the Appointment

The appointment shall be on a contract basis for a term of four years, or till attainment of 60 years of age, whichever is earlier. The appointment shall be governed by the Paraplegic Centre at Hayatabad, Peshawar, Appointment of the Chief Executive Officer (Terms and Condition of Service) Rules, 2026.

Remuneration

The position carries a pay package commensurate with experience and determined by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Instructions

(i) Any candidate may be disqualified and/or excluded from the interview if he/she was: a) Convicted by a court of law b) Dismissed from public service c) Knowingly furnishes any false information d) Submits forged/tampered documents

(ii) Applications shall be scrutinized by the HR Committee, and shortlisted candidates shall be interviewed by the Board of Governors. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview, on the basis of submitted documents.

(iii) The appointment shall be made by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the recommendations of the Board.

(iv) No TA/DA shall be allowed for attending the test/interview.
