POSITIONS VACANT
Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following positions in PSDP project titled “Cultivation & Processing of Medicinal & Industrial Cannabis on Experimental Fields and Establishment of Testing and Product Development Facilities (PCSIR & Arid Agriculture University)” at PCSIR Labs Complex, Ferozepur Road, Lahore on Lump-sum pay basis. The details are as under:

| Research Officers | M.Phil (Microbiology), having 3-4 years experience in R&D organizations, preferably in PSDP Projects. The candidate must have the knowledge of operation of precise analytical laboratory equipment’s. The candidate will also be responsible for quality assurance of Bio-products through fermentation. | 01 |
| Technician | BSc/BS Agriculture, preferably with minimum 2-3 years experience in agriculture/ plant breeding. Responsibilities of pilot plant processes and chemical reactions. Assist in cultivation, harvesting, and processing of agricultural crops under experimental field conditions. Conduct chemical reactions and ensure safe handling of raw materials. | 01 |
| Technician | BSc/BS Textile Engineering, preferably with minimum 2-3 year experience in textile machinery, fiber processing, spinning and industrial production system. Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of practical experience in extraction of hemp fiber and spinning into string. Practical experience in design and development of fiber extraction machinery. | 01 |

Terms and Conditions:
- The selection will be made purely on merit basis
- The appointments shall be made on purely on contract basis, initially for a period of 12 months extendable another 01 year on satisfactory performance till the completion of the project.
- Applications should be duly supported by CV and attested copies of CNIC, Domicile Certificate, Education Degrees/ Certificates and one recent passport size photograph.
- Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
- The candidate can be posted anywhere in PCSIR Laboratories across the Country.
- Only short-listed candidates will be invited for the test/ interview.
- TA/DA will not be paid for appearing in the Test / interview.
- Government servants should apply through proper channel.
- The posts are PURELY on CONTRACT basis for a stipulated period of time and there is ABSOLUTELY NO procession of being regularized.
- Selection committee reserves the right to withhold the appointment against the advertised post in case no proper candidate is available.
- Candidates must write the title of the post on the right top corner of the envelop.
