Applications are invited from eligible candidates having Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate of Sindh Province for appointment against the following vacancies in the Public Health Engineering & Rural Development Department. The required qualifications and experience for each post are given below.
Applicants who previously applied for the posts of Daroga (BS-5) and Village Development Supervisor (BS-11) in response to this Department’s advertisement dated 18.11.2025, against the Urban Open Merit and reserved quotas (Women, Differently Abled Persons, Minority, and Rural/Urban Quotas), are also required to submit fresh applications, subject to fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility criteria.

How to Apply
Applicants shall apply online for the vacancies through the Sindh Job Portal (SJP): https://sjp.gos.pk. The requirements are as follows:
i. Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of the Graduation Category and Matriculation Category, with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), and possess the relevant certificate issued by the STS, as required for appointment to the posts.
ii. The reservation of quotas for initial appointment shall be observed in accordance with the applicable policy of quota reserved for initial appointment. Sixty (60) and forty (40) percent of the total posts are reserved for Rural and Urban Quota, respectively. The quotas are assigned to Female (15%), Differently Abled Person (5%), Minority (5%), and Transgenders (0.5%) within the respective Rural (60%) and Urban (40%) quota. The remaining posts under the Rural and Urban Quota shall be filled on open merit within the respective Rural (60%) and Urban (40%) quota.
iii. Applicants applying for the appointment against the Differently Abled Person Quota should furnish a Disability Certificate issued by the Department of Empowerment of Disability Sindh in favor of the applicant. The certificate should be uploaded on the SJP. If the certificate is not uploaded on the SJP, the application shall not be considered.
iv. Applicants who are already in Government service shall obtain a No Objection Certificate from their department prior to submission of the application, and bring the original copy of the NOC at the time of interview for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee.
v. The appointment shall be made as per the Policy Notified by the Government of Sindh on 26.04.2023 and under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973 and its rules, as amended from time to time.
vi. The applicants shall appear before the Departmental Selection Committee, along with their original documents, for interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.
vii. The age of the applicants shall be calculated from the closing date of submission of the application, as provided under Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024. The Government of Sindh, Services, General Administration & Coordination, vide Notification No. SOII (SGA&CD)5-64//2011 (Part-II), dated 02.12.2025, and its circular letter of even number dated 02.12.2025, has allowed general age relaxation for fifteen (15) years (closing date of submission of application, i.e., 30.11.2021, for graduate, Intermediate & Matriculation category, Phase-I) for candidates who applied for the general screening test conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) prior to the promulgation of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024, dated 16.10.2024, and five (05) years (closing date of submission of application, i.e., 12.05.2025, for graduate category Phase-II; 08.04.2025 for Matriculation category, revised; and 21.11.2025 for Intermediate category Phase-II) for candidates who applied for the test after promulgation of the said rules.
viii. The Department may increase and/or decrease the number of available vacancies for the advertised posts.
ix. The Department may cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
x. The Department is not responsible for non-consideration of an applicant owing to his/her own act of omission and/or commission.
xi. No TA & DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview.
xii. The applications shall be submitted within fifteen (15) days of publication of this advertisement.
