CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited (PMEX) is a technology driven, web based, demutualized multi-commodity exchange, regulated by the SECP. It provides a centralized place for commodity futures trading. The vision of PMEX is to be among the leading mercantile exchanges of the region and to that end it has established strategic ties with several international exchanges to explore new business opportunities and is adopting global best practices in line with this objective.
PMEX is now seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization, enabling it to meet the corporate objectives as set out by the Board of Directors. He/she will ensure effective external stakeholder management while striving to increase the visibility of PMEX in the national and international markets.
The candidate would have a Masters qualification from a HEC recognized institution or a member of professional accounting body with around 20 years of relevant experience of which at least 5 years should be in a senior role as a direct reportee to CEO/MD or at least 3 years as CEO/MD, preferably in a regulated financial services entity.
Selected candidate will be offered a three (3) year contract (extendable) with market-based salary and other perks and privileges commensurate with the experience.
