Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power (Pvt.) Ltd. (QATPL), a public sector company owned by the Government of Punjab to construct and operate an RLNG-based 1180MW Combined Cycle power plant at Bhikki, District Sheikhupura, is seeking applications from highly qualified professionals for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Requisite Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree (minimum 16 years of education) from a reputable institute recognized or accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in disciplines including Engineering, Energy Management, Power, Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business Administration (Finance), Public Administration, Law, or Chartered Accountancy. Higher qualifications will be given preference.

• Experience: At least 20 years of post-qualification experience at public or private sector organizations, with no less than 05 years working in a senior management role at a power or energy project company/organization. Familiarity with public sector business processes and the Government/business interface will be considered an added advantage.

• Age Limit: Should not be above 62 years as on the last date for submission of application.

• Regulatory Framework: The appointment will be made in accordance with the Public Sector Companies (Appointment of Chief Executive Officer) Guidelines, 2015, and the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013. The candidate must fulfill the Fit and Proper Criteria laid down in the Guidelines.
