Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for the following positions, to be filled purely on a contract basis, under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) project of the Planning Commission of Pakistan, titled “Establishment of China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre (CPJRC) on Earth Sciences,” currently being executed and administrated at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. Candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and relevant experience are invited to apply within the prescribed due date.

Conditions/Instructions
- Applications duly filled/completed in all respects, with 2 attested photographs, copies of experience certificates, educational testimonials, domicile, and CNIC, should reach the office of the Additional Registrar, along with a Pay Order/Bank Draft (any bank) or through Bank Challan from HBL Quaid-i-Azam University Branch (Rs. 2,000/- for Serial No. 01 to 02, Rs. 1,000/- for S. No. 03 to 06, and Rs. 500/- for S. No. 7, non-refundable, drawn in favor of Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad), on or before 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement, during office hours.
- The application form may be obtained either from the Administration Section/Admin Block of the University, or downloaded from the university website, i.e., www.qau.edu.pk.
- Applicants who have already applied for this position in response to the previous advertisement, and meet the prescribed qualifications, are not required to apply afresh; their earlier applications will be considered.
- Incomplete applications, or applications received after the due date, will not be entertained.

- The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions at any stage.
- The appointments shall be made initially for a period of one year, and subject to satisfactory performance and annual review, are likely to be continued until the completion of the project. However, these positions are purely project-based and shall confer no right to regularization or permanent appointment at any stage.
