Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria

| 1 | I.T Technician (BPS-14) | Bachelor’s Degree in IT/CS or equivalent, awarded after 16 years of education, at least 2nd Division (preferably 1st Division), from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with a minimum of 02 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR Bachelor’s Degree awarded after 14 years of education with a 01-year diploma in IT/CS, preferably in 1st Division, from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with 02 years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| 2 | Computer Operator (BPS-12) | Intermediate, at least 2nd Division (preferably 1st Division) from an HEC-recognized board, with a 01-year Computer Diploma, minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m., and good knowledge of computer applications (MS Office), along with 02 years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| 3 | Plumber (BPS-5) | Literate, with a Certificate of Plumbing and 05 years’ experience in the relevant field. |
| 4 | Carpenter (BPS-5) | Literate, with a Certificate of Carpentry and 05 years’ experience in the relevant field. |

Instructions
- Interested candidates are advised to fill out the application form available on the SMI University website and send the printout of the duly filled-in form, along with a Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 1,500/- in favor of “SMI University, Karachi” as a processing fee, along with the latest CV, a copy of CNIC, two recent passport-size photographs, copies of degrees/certificates, experience documents, and domicile, to the Directorate of Human Resources Management, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Aiwan-e-Tijarat Road, Karachi-74000, latest by 18th July 2026, through courier or registered post.
- Candidates applying for the posts at Sr# 01 and 02 are required to send a Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 1,500/- in favor of “SMI University, Karachi” as a processing fee.
- Candidates who are already in government service should apply through the proper channel.
- Kindly mention the position applied for on top of the envelope. Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application forms with the required documents, complete in all respects.
- The University reserves the right of cancellation of advertised posts at any stage.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the written test/interview.
