The Special Education Department is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs) against vacant teaching posts in Special Education Institutions of Sargodha Division, under the STIs Policy notified by the Government of the Punjab, Special Education Department, on 25.03.2026, which is available on the official website of the Special Education Department: www.sed.punjab.gov.pk.
Eligibility Criteria
All aspiring candidates (men, women, and transgenders) shall be eligible to apply for School Teacher Interns as per the following qualification requirements:

Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is 21–28 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit:
- 05 years for male candidates
- 08 years for female candidates
- 15 years for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), subject to production of a valid disability certificate
Experience
Fresh aspiring candidates having the relevant qualification are encouraged to apply. However, preference may be given to candidates having teaching experience.

Terms & Conditions
- Engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific, and non-transferable.
- Duration: 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2026-27, or till the arrival of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier.
- Monthly Honorarium:
- BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-
- BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-
Application Procedure
- Interested candidates shall submit applications along with attested copies of the following documents: updated CV, CNIC, Domicile, Academic Certificates/Degrees, Equivalence Certificate of CGPA to percentage (if applicable), Experience Certificates (if any), and two passport-size pictures.
- Applications must reach the office of the District Education Officer (Special Education), Y-Block Street No. 22, New Satellite Town, Sargodha, by hand or courier, till 05.08.2026, during office hours.
- Candidates applying for different posts must clearly specify the post and institution for which they are submitting their application.
- Incomplete or late applications shall not be entertained.
- The merit list shall be displayed publicly at the office of the concerned Deputy Commissioner.
- Interviews of eligible/shortlisted candidates will be held at the venues mentioned below, as per the following schedule; special communication regarding appearance in the interview via letter, SMS, or email will not be intimated.
