In pursuance of “clause 5” of SOPs approved by the Syndicate in its 51/2019 meeting for hiring of visiting faculty at UET Taxila, the appointments against visiting faculty shall be as same those regularly appointed faculty (in accordance with the latest HEC faculty appointment criteria). However, CV on prescribed form shall be collected through advertisement by the Registrar and then a pool of renewed faculty in relevant subject shall be maintained by the department concerned on the recommendation of Dean for further employment as visiting faculty. | No Age Limit |

General Instructions

Application Fee: Applications duly completed in all respect, along with application fee (non-refundable) comprise Bank Draft/ Postal Order/ Bank Challan Rs. 4,000/- only for the post of Lecturer (BPS-18, Category-I) in the favor of the Treasurer, UET, Taxila must be submitted in the R&I Cell of UET Taxila by post on or before July 16th, 2026 (Thursday), 03:30 PM.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates should submit their applications (in hard form) on prescribed form available at university website:
https://web.uettaxila.edu.pk/OR/postsVacant.aspalong with attested copies of educational testimonials (Degrees/Certificates, Transcript/DMC) & experience certificates, copy of CNIC, one recent photograph, valid registration card of PEC (only applicable for degrees in engineering disciplines) and original fee deposit receipt. -
Only those qualifications & experiences etc. will be considered, if valid documentary proof is attached up to the last date of advertisement.

In-Service Candidates: Must apply through proper channel. They also submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their concerned departments/ organizations along with their applications.

Pension Scheme: Pension scheme/benefits shall be governed by the Punjab’s “Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (2025)” in accordance with Clause 2(g) of the Punjab Rules, if applicable.

Age Relaxation: Will be considered in the light of Government/University rules on case-to-case basis.

Only shortlisted candidates, who meet the criteria, will be called for test/ interview.

If any educational document or any other document provided by the applicants is found incorrect/ fake at any stage, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.

Incomplete applications without prescribed application fee and those received after the due date shall be rejected without information to the applicant.

The University reserves the right to decrease, withdraw any post or all advertisement, without assigning any reason.

For regular positions, the period of probation i.e 2 year can be extended for further period on the basis of un-satisfactory performance.

Prescribed Quota will be admissible where applicable as per rules.

The posts under category-II are purely on visiting basis, hence no right of regular appointment.

No TA/DA would be admissible at any stage.
