1. Assistant Professor (BS-19) (Regular/TTS/Contract)

• Qualification required: PhD in Information Technology or Computing / PhD in Management Sciences or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

2. Lecturer (BS-18) (On One Year Contract)

• Age Limit: 21-35 years

  • Information Technology / Computer Science:

• Qualification required: MS or M.Phil. (first division) in Information Technology or Computing or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

• Note: An applicant having a third division in their academic career shall not be eligible; however, such applicant having a PhD in the relevant field and has not more than one third division in the entire academic career shall be eligible for the post.

The University of Education, Lahore (UE Lahore) was established in 2002 and is a large multi-campus, multicity and multidiscipline University of Pakistan. We are in search of suitable candidates for Teaching in the concerned Divisions / Campuses as detailed below:

How to Apply

1. Applicants are required to apply online through university job portal web.ue.edu.pk/jobs/. The applicants are also required to submit signed hardcopy/printout of same pre-filled online application form to the Registrar Office, University of Education, College Road Township Campus, Lahore. Fill online application form carefully as no editing will be allowed after submission.

2. The applicants are required to print system generated fee challan and deposit job application processing fee as mentioned on challan in any branch of Bank of Punjab.

3. The applicants are required to attach and submit one set of attested copies of CNIC, domicile, all educational documents/certificates, experience certificates and any other relevant documents along-with deposit receipt / deposited system generated fee challan as per the following approved rates on or before the closing date:

   • BS-19: Rs. 4,000/- (Non-Refundable)

   • BS-18: Rs. 2,500/- (Non-Refundable)

4. Applications submitted without deposited system generated fee challan will not be entertained. Deposited amount is non-refundable/non-transferable.

5. Closing date for submission of online applications and deposit of job application processing fee is 20.07.2026 within office hours. Printed online application form along-with all attached documents must be submitted on 20.07.2026 in person or via courier. Incomplete applications or applications received after due date (even dispatched through courier) will not be accepted.

General Information

2. Relaxation in upper age limit may be granted to suitable candidates as per statutes / rules.
3. The quota for disable persons, minorities and women will be observed as per rules.
4. Degrees only from HEC recognized Universities/degree awarding Institutions will be considered.
5. Foreign degree holders must submit their equivalence certificate(s) issued by the HEC, Pakistan.
6. Candidates presently working in Government, Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies must send their applications through proper channel only. On-Line applications submitted without NOC / Advance copy shall not be entertained.
7. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
8. Initial appointment will be made on one year on contract and it will be extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
9. The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of Courier Agency / Post Office / Telephonic message.
10. Experience, where prescribed, would include equivalent experience, in a profession or in the service of an autonomous or semi-autonomous organization or well reputed private organization gained after acquiring basic requisite qualification for the post.
11. University reserves the rights to Increase/decrease or totally withdraw the vacancies without assigning any reason.
12. University reserves the rights to conduct any test / screening for the shortlisting of candidates.
13. An appointment, other than under the tenure track system or faculty, shall be made from amongst the candidates domiciled in the Punjab.
