Works & Services Department Sindh Jobs 2026: New Openings for Work Mistry (Hyderabad & Karachi Buildings)

The Government of Sindh, Works & Services Department has released two new official advertisements (INF/KRY/2936/26 and INF/KRY/2933/2026) announcing career opportunities for individuals holding a Sindh domicile. Both advertisements are recruiting for the exact same cadre under different regional directorates:

Position Title: Work Mistry / Mason Mistry / Daroga (BPS-05)

Age Limit: 21 to 28 years (calculated from the closing date of application submission).
Educational Qualification: Minimum Matriculation from a recognized Board.
Domicile Eligibility: Province of Sindh.

Chief Engineer (Buildings), Hyderabad: 40 Vacancies
Chief Engineer (Buildings), Karachi: 07 Vacancies

📋 Eligibility Criteria & General Instructions

Screening Test Requirement: Applicants must have successfully passed the general screening test for matriculation categories with at least 40% marks conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) and possess a valid certificate issued by STS.
Age Relaxation: An upper age relaxation limit of 05 years is admissible as provided under rule 7 of the Sindh Civil Servants Rule, 2024, and the notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department dated 06-03-2025.
In-Service Personnel: Candidates currently working in District, Provincial, Federal, or Semi-Government setups must apply through the proper channel and attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Quota Allocations: Reserved institutional quotas for specific categories will be strictly followed in accordance with the rules and policy guidelines of the Government of Sindh.
Selection Process: Only eligible and shortlisted individuals will be contacted for an interview before the Departmental Selection Committee. No TA/DA will be paid.
